I met Dana White on Twitter. That lead to a phone conversation. And, when she told me about her project to create a “movie and a movement” to help us as a society view aging in a different light – to honor those who have lived their lives and gained much wisdom – I loved it! I loved her idea even more when I heard that the big message of the film would be to let people know that it is never too late to start again. Inspired by her own mother’s journey, Dana, an actress, writer and producer, created the script for The Red Suitcase – an inspiring story of Ruth(played by the critically acclaimed actress, Kathleen Chalfant), a woman in her 60’s who is starting over, and her daughter, Liz (played by Dana), who embark on an odyssey across America to begin a new life. The story is about letting go and starting over – and, that’s exactly what Ruth is able to do. We even talked about the ways you can be involved in helping the movie get produced. Tune in and join the movement.
